STORTFORD DIVERS
LOGIC PUZZLE 1
Paul Sharpe is trying to marshal a dive, but is having the usual nightmare keeping track of people and equipment. Five particularly awkward divers have disappeared with five items of kit in different locations: each has a different problem. Using the clues below, can you help Paul sort out where everyone is, what kit they have with them and what their various problems are?
1. Simon is at the Cricket Club, whilst the tube of Black Witch is on holiday with someone in the Red Sea.
2. Sue Piper does not have the marshalling slate, and neither does the diver (not in the Jolly Brewers) who is currently suffering from a slipped disc.
3. Derek does not have the marshalling slate or the Black Witch, however one of these items is with the person whose drysuit has ‘shrunk’.
4. The person with a leaky drysuit has the spare set; they are neither at the Jolly Brewers or Stortford swimming pool.
5. Andy has a dodgy regulator.
6. Stuart has the oxygen kit. He is talking on his mobile to the person stuck at the Half Moon with seized brakes.
