STORTFORD DIVERS
LOGIC PUZZLE 2
Andy, Reg, Chris, Lisa and Mick are on a diving weekend in
Weymouth. The boat (‘Our W’) leaves in an
hour and only one of them is there so far. They all
need to be on the boat with their essential items of diving equipment before it leaves.
Using the clues below, can you find where the five divers are, what they are each carrying
and also what particular problems they are facing?
1. Chris does not have a snoring roommate, neither is he the person applying the ‘Black Witch’ (rubber glue) to a leaky drysuit.
2. Andy has the oxygen kit; he is not in ‘The Boot’ (excellent public house in Weymouth).
3. Lisa is the one who did make it to the boat (‘Our W’).
4. Mick is at the bacon sarnie stall with the spare set.
5. Reg currently has an unreliable contents gauge.
6. The person with the damp ‘baccy (who is not Chris) has no duct tape and is not in the dive shop.
7. The person in the B&B is held up talking to the manager, and does not have the duct tape.
